World Youth Alliance Europe – May Newsletter

The World Youth Alliance in Europe has been actively engaging with young people from Belgium, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Spain, Kosovo, Albania, and Croatia for numerous opportunities for growth, connection, and leadership. This past season, due to the participation in the “Empowering Human Dignity of EU & WB youth” project, we have had several online events and are excited to welcome you for more virtual learning opportunities. This initiative, funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, is implemented by the WYA Europe in the partnership with Bosnian Representative Association for Valuable Opportunities, WYA South East Europe from Croatia, WYA Spain, Këshilli i Veprimit Rinor – Prizren from Kosovo and EPOKA University from Albania. EHDEU&WBY is dedicated to empowering youth through dialogue, education, and leadership, based on set of complementary virtual exchange activities designed to support accessible, intercultural education through set of complementary virtual exchange activities.

Critical Thinking and Media Literacy – February 19, 2025

On February 19th, we held a special webinar that brought philosophical and historical thoughts to life. During this virtual critical thinking and media literacy session, multinational group of 17 young people took active part in discussions on texts by thinkers like Viktor Frankl and Charles Malik, followed by and real-time exercises. Youth from diverse cultural backgrounds practiced identifying bias, assessing sources, and developing media literacy in a collaborative digital space. This session fostered independent thinking and built digital competencies. Discover more.

Intercultural Talk – April 5, 2025

On April 5th, participants from across Europe gathered online to participate in WYA’s Advocacy Briefing to learn about the key advocacy principles and practical tools and share their unique perspectives and experiences in policy dialogue and advocacy. Trough involvement in this virtual Intercultural Talk, participants were equipped with the tools and principles necessary to engage in policy discussions and be a part of the global community. Academy for Youth Leaders & Youth Workers – June 11 to July 23, 2025

Applications are now open for our upcoming online training program. This is a dynamic online training program running from June 11 to July 23, 2025, open to all youth aged 18–30 residing in Europe. Apply by June 7 and be part of a passionate global network of young advocates! Register now.
