WYA Europe Empowers Young Voices Through Successful Advocacy Briefing

Datum objave: 10. travnja 2025.

World Youth Alliance Europe hosted on April 5, 2025 a successful online Advocacy Briefing – an Intercultural Talk within the “Empowering Human Dignity of EU & WB youth” project. This event aimed at empowering young individuals in policy dialogue and advocacy work. The event gathered 26 young leaders aged 18 to 30 from diverse cultural backgrounds and provided participants with the opportunity to engage in intercultural conversations, highlighting the importance of youth involvement in shaping global policy. The gathering served as a platform for youth to voice their perspectives and share experiences from their respective cultural backgrounds.

The session featured a presentation of World Youth Alliance’s latest advocacy brief, offering participants a structured approach on how to engage with policy through the lens of human dignity. By breaking down key principles and practical tools, the briefing helped equip attendees with the confidence and knowledge to participate thoughtfully whether it be with their local communities or at the international level. These Intercultural talks are part of the “Empowering Human Dignity of EU & WB youth” project funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union. The project is implemented by the WYA Europe in the partnership with Bosnian Representative Association for Valuable Opportunities, WYA South East Europe from Croatia, WYA Spain, Këshilli i Veprimit Rinor – Prizren from Kosovo and EPOKA University from Albania.

This event is part of WYA’s broader mission to build a global community of young people committed to fostering solidarity. Through initiatives like these, WYA Europe continues to create spaces where respectful dialogue across cultures can strengthen solidarity among the youth and support more human-centred policy development.
