EN WYA Spain Webinar Fosters Thoughtful Discussion on Society and Technology

On the 26th of February, World Youth Alliance Spain hosted a dynamic webinar that brought together passionate young leaders to explore some of today’s most pressing challenges as part of the “EHDEU&WBY” project.
These Intercultural talks answered to the urgent need of understanding how modern practices and emerging technologies are shaping the future of society, and what this means for human flourishing. Participants used the opportunity created by this virtual exchange session to hear from renowned experts with backgrounds in science, ethics, and philosophy, who offered thought-provoking insights on the relationship between technological advancement and the human person. With a high turnout of 26 participants coming from diverse cultural backgrounds, the event fostered a meaningful intercultural dialogue rooted in shared values and critical inquiry.
Through interactive conversation and open exchange, attendees were able to deepen their understanding of how global policy decisions directly impact everyday life, particularly at the grassroots level. More importantly, they gained the tools and confidence to engage in conversations that matter, especially those touching on the foundations of human relationships and ethical leadership. WYA Spain is proud to create spaces like these, where young people can come together across borders to grow as leaders who are committed to promoting human dignity in all sectors of society.
This virtual exchange action was organised as an integral part of the “Empowering Human Dignity of EU & WB youth” Virtual Exchanges in Higher Education and Youth project funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union. The project is implemented by the WYA Europe in the partnership with Bosnian Representative Association for Valuable Opportunities, WYA South East Europe from Croatia, World Youth Alliance Spain, Këshilli i Veprimit Rinor – Prizren from Kosovo and EPOKA University from Albania.
