The project "The Youth Advocacy Bridge" is implemented by the World Youth Alliance of Southeast Europe in cooperation with the SPES Institute for Humanity and AI, with the financial support of the AU-EU Youth Action Lab program (Oxfam Novib, European Union). The goal of the project is to empower young people, especially marginalized youth from Croatia and Ethiopia, to monitor the transparency and accountability of government and the impact of technological development on democratic participation, through the creation of a comparative management tool, advocacy training and the development of a 5-indicator framework for management assessment. Activities include youth research workshops, international education in Zagreb, development and implementation of advocacy campaigns and dialogue with decision makers, as well as a network of Youth Governance Ambassadors to continue the application of the tool after the end of the project.
The project will strengthen the capacities of the association and its partners to implement 360 STEM workshops with 900 children and students over the course of 3 years. Additionally, 12 public events will be organized annually to promote STEM in public spaces, which will include 3 STEM booths, 5 STEM exhibitions, and 4 STEM competitions.
The project aims to develop an innovative training program and digital platform for informing and educating girls and young women (ages 13–30) about reproductive health, women’s rights, and reproductive mental health.
