First year of project implementation Virtuoz STEM Academy successfully completed! We started with a clear goal of strengthening our own capacities for the promotion of the STEM field among children and young people, and the first year showed that we are on the right track.

The project under number SF.2.4.06.04.0078 is being implemented with the support of the European Social Fund Plus, and the total value of the approved financing is 293,945.33 euros. The project is being implemented over a three-year period and we are pleased to say that the first year was successfully completed.

Over the past year, we have established and strengthened cooperation with our partners from the education sector: four kindergartens (Budućnost, Kreativni dani, Mačak u čizmama and Vladimir Nazor), Dominik Savio Primary School and the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology, University of Zagreb. Thanks to this network of partners, we have managed to bring STEM content closer to children of different ages in a meaningful and high-quality way.

Our association's employees and volunteers participated in numerous trainings, study visits and conferences, and the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology staff conducted training for our team and partners from kindergartens and schools. All of this reflected in the quality of the activities we carry out, and we came away with a lot of new knowledge and ideas.

We have two more years of work and collaboration ahead of us. We continue to implement STEM workshops, public events and competitions, and the goal remains the same: 360 workshops, attended by around 900 children and students. We can't wait to see what awaits us in the new project year!
