September is upon us, and with it the return to the regular rhythm of our STEM workshops as part of the project VIRTUOZ STEM ACADEMY. After the summer activities, we continue to work where the children are – in libraries, institutions and schools throughout Zagreb.

In the workshops, everything remains the same – most learning is still through play. Children experiment, assemble, try out and don't give up, and along with concrete knowledge of science and technology, they develop cooperation, patience, creativity and independence. These are skills that stay with them long after the workshop is over.

This month we are holding four workshops:

• Ancient Egyptian adventure – Thursday, September 3, 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM, Savski Gaj Library, Nehruov trg 46, Zagreb
• Ancient Egyptian adventure – Thursday, September 10, 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM, Spanish-North Library, Trg I. Kukuljevića 9, Zagreb
• Little engineers – city – Tuesday, September 15, 5:00 PM – 5:45 PM and 5:50 PM – 6:35 PM (two groups), St. Theresa of the Infant Jesus Children's Home, Vrhovec 29, Zagreb
• Introduction to the STEM world – Tuesday, September 29, 2:20 PM – 3:05 PM, Dominik Savio Elementary School, Omiška Street, Zagreb

Registration for workshops in libraries is open to all interested parties, while workshops in institutions and schools are conducted in agreement with the hosts, for children and students staying there.
