Active March: STEM booths and competition are coming!
Date of publication: March 3, 2026.
March is a particularly dynamic month filled with project-based STEM activities. In addition to continuing workshops at partner institutions, events are planned that bring our work closer to the wider community and give children the opportunity to demonstrate in practice what they have learned so far.
We especially emphasize two STEM stands where we will present the materials we use in the workshops, show what learning through play and experimentation looks like, and bring STEM content closer to everyone who joins us. The stands are designed as an interactive experience - a place where passersby can stop, ask questions, try out, and peek into what children are doing during the workshops.
In a partner kindergarten Creative days will be held STEM competition through which children will be able to apply and check the knowledge acquired so far. Through various tasks and teamwork, logical thinking, problem solving, creativity and perseverance are encouraged - skills that are at the core of the STEM approach.
In addition, we continue to hold STEM workshops in partner institutions, thus ensuring continuity of learning through experience and further development of children's curiosity and spirit of inquiry. Registration is required via the link: [LINK]
During March, it is planned to study visit to Grabrik Elementary School in Karlovac, as an opportunity to exchange experiences, insight into practice and additional inspiration for the further development of our activities.
We look forward to a March full of activities and shared learning through practice.
