Certified Training Program Engages Youth in Spain on Citizenship
Date of publication: August 1, 2025.
World Youth Alliance Spain is excited to announce its upcoming Certified Training Program, taking place online from September 9 to October 21, 2025. Open to young people aged 18–30 who are eager to shape the future of Europe, the program focuses on promoting citizenship and the core values of freedom, tolerance, and non-discrimination through education and dialogue. A central part of the training will be online discussion groups on Human Dignity and EU values, led by three of WYA Spain’s trainers.
At the heart of WYA’s mission is the commitment to reach and represent youth from every social, educational, and economic background. This program reflects that goal by offering young leaders and youth workers innovative ways to strengthen their skills, expand their knowledge, and build practical methods to engage more deeply in civic life. By raising awareness of EU values and identity, the program empowers participants to become active citizens and agents of positive change.
Through interactive training and collaborative exchanges, participants will explore themes of citizenship, inclusion, and solidarity, while also contributing to a stronger youth dimension in EU–Western Balkan relations. The program aims to equip young leaders with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to make a lasting impact in their communities and in building a more cohesive Europe.
The Certified Training Program is implemented within the ˝Empowering Human Dignity of EU & WB youth˝ project, funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union. It is also made possible through the collaboration of key partners across Europe: Bosnian Representative Association for Valuable Opportunities from Bosnia & Herzegovina, Alianza Mundial de la Juventud España from Spain, Këshilli i Veprimit Rinor – Prizren (KVRP) from Kosovo, EPOKA University from Albania and Svjetski savez mladih Jugoistočna Europa from Croatia.
